Cruz Bay is on the western coast of St. John. It is affectionately know by St. Johnians as “town” because it is where most of St John’s major services are.
The post office, banks, larger grocery stores, the pharmacy and the like are located in Cruz Bay.

The passenger ferry and all car barges arrive to St. John in Cruz Bay.

You take the Northshore Road (Route 20) from Cruz Bay to get to the Northshore.

Most of the Northshore is National Park
and all along it are some of the world’s most beautiful and pristine beaches.
From Cruz Bay to Trunk Bay (marked on this map with the red arrow)
is about fifteen minutes traveling by car.

Continuing on eastward for roughly another ten minutes
you will reach the eastern most beaches along Northshore Road as well as
The Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins.

At that point the road turns southward and about five minutes further along,
Northshore Road connects up with Centerline Road (Route 10).
This intersection is just about the very center of St John.

Turn eastbound onto Centerline and you will reach Coral Bay in about five minutes. Going westbound on Centerline for about 25 minutes and you are back in Cruz Bay.
